ManpowerGroup CNC Master Machinist in Phoenix, Arizona

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate multiple CNC machines with minimal supervision.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of first piece articles and ongoing production to maintain quality standards.

  • Train and assist team members in machine operations and processes as needed.

  • Perform regular manual tasks to support production needs.

  • Ensure production output meets or exceeds expected levels with minimal discrepancies.

  • Maintain quality standards with attention to detail.

  • Work overtime and travel as required to meet business needs.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be ITAR compliant.

  • Proven experience with Mill Turn and Swiss machines.

  • Strong knowledge of CNC lathe and mill setups and programming fundamentals.

  • Adequate manual dexterity to safely perform machine setups and operations.

  • Must have or be willing to obtain a first piece inspection stamp.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Understanding of machining process automation and material planning.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.

  • Capable of performing repetitive motions involving arms, wrists, elbows, and shoulders.

Experience:

  • For external candidates, a minimum of 12 months experience as a Level 5 Operator is required.
