Travel : Travel is required – up to 90%. 90% is required due to assignment being remote, living in temporary housing
Major Responsibilities
Contract Development and Management:
Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, including agreements with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and service providers to include but not limited to Contract Strategy Documentation, Single Source Justifications
Draft, manage, and update contracts and documentation for compliance and accuracy to include Statement of Work (SOW), Request for Proposal (RFP) & Request for Information (RFI0
Monitor contract compliance and enforce contract terms and conditions with third-party vendors.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and site operations.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and internal compliance standards.
Perform due diligence on subcontractors and vendors to maintain data center security and confidentiality standards.
Stakeholder Coordination and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to align contract requirements with project needs.
Act as a liaison between site management and contractors to address issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on contract performance, vendor performance, and project status.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
Collaborate with finance teams to develop and track budgets associated with contract agreements.
Manage cost control measures and identify areas for cost savings or efficiency improvements, including performance of price analysis, purchase-price analysis & identification of competitive benchmarks.
Review and approve invoices in accordance with contract terms and budget constraints.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate, select, and manage vendors, ensuring they meet contract terms and performance metrics.
Conduct periodic vendor performance assessments and implement improvement plans as needed.
Based on performance and project requirements, negotiate extensions, amendments, or renewals with vendors.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain organized and accessible records for all contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
Prepare and present reports on contract status, project timelines, and budget updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Support audits and provide documentation as required for compliance and regulatory reviews.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Contract Management, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. A degree in Engineering or Finance may also be suitable.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
In-depth knowledge of contract law and commercial terms, particularly for data center projects.
Effective Time Management and organizational skills
Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written & verbal).
Strong analytical and financial acumen.
Ability to manage multiple contracts and vendors concurrently.
Ability to establish and build successful supplier relationships
Familiarity with data center operations, construction processes, and industry standards.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, ERP systems).
Strong understanding of contract requirements and the preparation of RFPs/RFIs
Experience in planning, leading and structuring negotiations with both internal and external customers and suppliers to optimize value
Proficiency and experience with various procurement methodologies and sourcing techniques
Ability to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing and persuasion skills
Results-focused, with a proactive approach to workload
Work Experience
Five to eight years of experience in sourcing RFP & contract execution, procurement/construction
Five to ten years of experience in procurement and contract administration, working on a variety of projects to include technology-based clients
2 years’ experience in Construction

Education
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.

Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Construction Management Certification
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)
Work Experience
Eight years of experience in sourcing RFP & contract execution, procurement/construction
Eight to ten years of experience in procurement and contract administration, working on a variety of projects to include technology-based clients
Five years’ experience in Construction
Constructiv is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $88,400 - $132,500. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
