Oracle Health is seeking a Consulting Software Developer with a strong background in Oracle Health Millennium (formerly Cerner Millennium) to join our federal Edge & Analytics team. This position will have a focus on development leveraging Oracle APEX with an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tenancy to enhance the DOC Tool in support of federal site deployments. Your team will consist of a diverse group of creative thinkers who leverage their broad experience with Millennium products and database architecture to create solutions to customer technical and business problems. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our healthcare technology initiatives to improve the lives of active-duty service members and veterans.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Oracle Health Federal Consulting Edge and Analytics team, your initial focus will be on leveraging Oracle APEX and a pre-existing knowledge of the Millennium data model to expedite development efforts of the federal DOC Tool. Work will include direct development efforts on the APEX based application and management/integration into an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tenancy. Future work efforts may include development using Cerner Command Language (CCL), Oracle SQL, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for report and utility development. Below are the key responsibilities with this role:
Build future state applications to meet all requirements documented.
Support training content creation as appropriate.
Work directly with internal and external customers to develop and refine technical requirements.
Adopt OCI standard tools and DevOps standards and practices.
Implement high quality code, review code written by peers, and participate in design reviews.
Resolve performance and scalability issues related to our tools and services.
Identify opportunities to improve the health, scalability, and resiliency of products and services.
Build and execute unit tests and integration plans to prevent regressions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CCL programs.
Develop and support Cerner Command Language (CCL) reports and utilities.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Minimum of 2years of experience as a CCL Developer.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a consulting role.
Strong understanding of the Millennium data model.
Broad knowledge working with multiple Oracle Health (Millennium) products.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to receive a favorable security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with programing in Oracle SQL or Oracle APEX.
Experience with development in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
Familiarity with development in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment.
Experience implementing an Oracle Cerner product for multiple customers.
Experience working with federal government customers.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
