Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs in managing select meetings/events by:

  • Managing meetings/events such as OMP Connectivity Events, Promotion Day, Holiday Party and All Hands, Town Hall meetings, Community Day activities, local orientation sessions, recruiting events, local area partner meetings, lunch & learns, team meetings, and local client facing events;

  • Taking ownership and responsibility for event planning process, firm event requirements, and event/venue contract management for smaller (in attendance and estimated spend/budget) and less logistically complex meetings and events;

  • Sourcing, planning, executing, and maintaining budgets for client facing and internal office sponsored meetings/events, both in the office and at offsite venues;

  • Leading all aspects of the meeting continuum including venue research and site inspections, vendor negotiations, meeting budget accountability, ground transportation, food and beverage, hotel room block management, décor, AV/technology support, security, on-site execution, and significant Cvent data management;

  • Working with the PwC Workplace Experience Services team and third party office based staff to manage in office events;

  • Understanding, consulting and managing customer defined meeting budgets and aligning with total firm cost management;

  • Accomplishing all assigned responsibilities and maintaining frequent, effective communication and collaboration with the WX Meeting & Event Leadership and all internal customers;

  • Working with internal stakeholders in all offices to understand their meeting/event requirements while still leveraging industry leading practices, utilizing the Firm's national hotel, ground transportation and other preferred suppliers in line with firm strategy and in accordance with National Meeting & Event services;

  • Applying experience with Cvent (Strategic Meetings Management Technology) to track budgets, meeting data, and payment information for reporting to/for Meeting & Event Services, internal customers, and leadership;

  • Collaborating with the meeting manager and providing on-site support for larger and more logistically complex events (e.g. Promotion Day, Holiday Party, etc.); and,

  • Collaborating with Workplace Experience Services Managers for on the ground office support as needed. *This role will require the staff to be physically present when there are events or there is support needed including being in the office to meet with meeting stakeholders (OMPs, ELs, Social Committees, etc.) in person.

The salary range for this position is: $54,000 - $184,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
