Pay Range: $96,006.81 - $135,609.61

As the Manager of HR Corporate, you will partner with Centuri Group and its subsidiary companies to establish and maintain positive employee experiences throughout the employee life cycle. You will work directly with managers and employees across all companies to enhance the employee experience and deepen their sense of belonging.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand critical employee interactions and develop solutions to mitigate pain points and improve the employee experience
Lead employee engagement initiatives as needed
Design and deliver organizational health assessments, analysis, and action plans
Responsible for conducting intake, fact-finding, and investigating concerns using coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills, exercising judgment and discretion in resolving workplace issues, and maintaining positive working relationships
Conduct and oversee investigations from the Company Ethics Hotline and other issue-reporting methodologies
Provide ad hoc guidance to field-based HR team on coaching employees, disciplinary actions, and performance management to ensure fairness and consistency across the company
Partner with Legal to mitigate risk, to respond to EEOC and other regulatory agency complaints
Identify emerging human capital challenges to stay current with existing and new local, state, and federal employment and discrimination legislation and laws
Manage exit interview process, including management of third-party vendors
Manage Employee Care Fund established to provide financial assistance to employees in disaster situations
Collect and analyze measurable data, real-time observations, and feedback through multiple channels to devise strategies to improve employee experience
Responsibility for company handbook to include application/interpretation of policies and updates as needed
Partner with HR Center of Excellence (CoE) leaders on HR projects, initiatives and rollouts, leading change management
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
What You'll Have
Bachelor’s Degree or Human Resources Certification
5+ years of Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 3 years of progressive experience in employee relations or a similar position
Ability to build strong relationships and influence without having direct authority
Ability to assess situations and make appropriate recommendations quickly and accurately
Proven knowledge of employment and HR-related laws, principles, conducting sensitive workplace investigations and advising on the findings
Written communication skills to compose complex reports, legal documents, proposals, and disciplinary documentation
Communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
Interpersonal skills to negotiate and collaboratively reconcile differences to arrive at acceptable solutions
Read, analyze, interpret, and develop HR metrics, professional journals, financial reports, business plans, strategies, and legal documents
Accomplish objectives in a changing environment when information is vague, details are absent or difficult to obtain
Successful record of solving unique problems and develop methods, systems, policies, or services that have a significant impact on company objectives
Maintain confidentiality with professionalism

Work Environment
Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
Occasional field visits at active construction sites which require wearing personal protective equipment.
Approximately 25% business travel
Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
