Our Manager of Strategic Sourcing reports to the director of supply chain and manages internal and external sourcing and leads a team dedicated to delivering new spend reduction and consolidation opportunities within both direct and indirect spend categories.
What You'll Do
Oversee complex strategic sourcing projects, with significant stakeholder interface, and negotiate structured supplier agreements and contracts
Build organizational change management (OCM) plans for each new supplier including internal marketing, support and rollout plans
Build total cost of ownership models for financial analysis of vendors by category
Determine best integration paths including P2P, P-Card and direct spend models by vendor
Build a supplier diversity onboarding methodology to support ongoing business demands
Determine, propose and drive cost-reduction and supplier optimization opportunities based upon dynamic evaluation of company-spend (equipment, materials, subcontractors, commodities, etc.)
Solicit and analyze vendor proposals for varied and occasionally complex materials and services
What You'll Have
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline preferred
5+ years’ experience in a direct supply chain, sourcing and/or procurement role
5+ years’ experience in a direct managerial/leadership capacity
Ability to manage external and internal sourcing while maintaining a disciplined project management approach
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Exhibit a structured process and well-organized approach to decision-making, without requiring close supervision
Ability to effectively lead others and influence leaders

Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
