ManpowerGroup Mechanical Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
Our client, a semiconductor products manufacturer, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team for a direct hire position with full benefits and bonus. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong full lifecycle product design skills which will align successfully in the organization. Position is onsite Monday through Friday in North Phoenix.

Location: North Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $100K-$120K DOE plus Benefits, Bonus
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the mechanical design, development, testing, documentation, and manufacturing process implementation of new products and to support products already in the field
Conduct research and design new products using SolidWorks CAD for modeling, validation (FEA), and drafting.
Apply knowledge of machines, materials, and engineering practices to complete designs and select production materials.
Define test plans, direct product testing, and manage the production release process in the PLM system.
Collaborate with production staff to develop and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products.and ensure product cost, performance, and quality are optimized, occasionally acting as a manufacturing process engineer.
Requirements
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
Solidworks, PLM and GD&T experience
Experience designing, testing and manufacturing mechanical and electro-mechanical products
Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, tight tolerance components
Experience with documentation and PLM
