Job Title: Sr Aerospace Structures Engineer
Job Description
As a Sr Aerospace Structures Engineer, you will lead a dynamic team in the development of innovative aerospace structural products for defense applications. This role involves engaging in Research & Development and Design & Development activities. You will apply engineering principles to the design of new parts and products, as well as improve existing ones. Responsibilities include leading the creation of specification documents, executing design and development projects, establishing verification and validation plans, and coordinating design review activities. You will also be involved in the creation of technical data packages and coordinate the production of prototype parts for testing and evaluation. Additionally, you will assess project feasibility, participate in system integration, and interface with various departments to provide technical support and ensure the fulfillment of engineering aspects in contracts.
Hard Skills
Leadership in product development from concept to functional test
Experience designing aerospace pylons and monocoque structures
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Soft Skills

Ability to multitask and wear multiple hats in a small company environment
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.
