Honeywell Senior Director, General Manager in Phoenix, Arizona
As Senior Director, General Manager , you will have complete responsibility for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of a large portfolio with multiple product lines within the Aerospace Technologies (AT) business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy (STRAP) and growth strategy, both organic and inorganic, to drive growth at or greater than market rates. You will be accountable for developing the product technology roadmap, driving new product development, fostering innovation, and ensuring alignment between engineering and supply chain (SIOP). You will also be responsible for leading and executing the daily commercial operations of the regional business, in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). This will require collaboration with ISC, sales, engineering REV/COGS program teams, and cross-functional teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate innovative thought leadership to drive NPD transformation within your portfolio and generate revenue from platforms by building innovative business models. You will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships, partnering with cross-functional teams, building effective teams, and leading change initiatives. Additionally, you will investigate market options, build a new product pipeline, conduct market research, and implement new processes to drive NPD transformation for the portfolio.
You will report directly to our VP General Manager, Avionics Business Enterprise, and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Olathe, KS location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the P&L of a large portfolio with multiple product lines, with a focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD).
Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain operations.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations, to drive collaboration and alignment in achieving business objectives.
Build effective teams by recruiting top talent, providing coaching and development opportunities, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Maintain accountability for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and develop strategies to achieve financial targets and long-term business growth.
Lead change initiatives to drive organizational transformation and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
Investigate market options and conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
Build a new product pipeline by driving innovation, conducting Voice of Customer (VOC) research, and collaborating with R&D teams.
Implement new processes and drive New Product Development (NPD) transformation for the portfolio, ensuring efficient and effective product development and commercialization.

YOU MUST HAVE
10+ years of relevant experience, including P&L responsibility
Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with ability to influence and partner with key stakeholders cross-functionally
Experience with product Global Design Models (GDM), including product, aftermarket services, and projects
Strong management and organizational abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
