Job Description
Fortune 500 client in the Financial Services/FinTech sector is looking to hire a talented individual to join their team of talented SRE's in Phoenix. This is a Direct-Hire/Full-Time/Permanent position! As a Java SRE, you will focus on continuing the support and scaling of one of the major internal platforms used worldwide by internal developer teams. This is a Java application environment, where you will be challenged to find the root cause of any issues, remediate/debug issues, and document your solution, as well as think in a long-term mind set when it comes to scaling effectively and securely.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of technology industry experience (i.e., Software Engineer, SRE or similar roles.).
At least 2+ years of recent SRE experience.
Advanced understanding of SRE best practices (API Performance Techniques, NFRs, Toil Reduction, Incident Management, Memory Management, etc.).
Deep understanding of Java (reading, understanding, and manipulating existing code as needed for the SRE team.).
Advance level experience working with Spring Boot frameworks.
Experience working within an AWS environment.
Advanced level experience writing SQL Queries.
Experience completing automation using Python for scripting. - Advanced level experience with monitoring tools (i.e., Splunk, etc.). null
