Position Overview:

Grand Canyon Education's Human Resources department is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Team Lead for our Campus Corporate Team. The Talent Acquisition Lead serves as a mentor, and lead for a team of recruiters, providing guidance and support in their daily activities. The purpose of a team Lead is to offer valuable leadership experience. It allows individuals to develop and hone essential leadership skills such as communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

What you will do:

  • Successfully completes all essential duties and responsibilities as assigned to the Talent Acquisition Partner.

  • Lead and mentor other Talent Acquisition Partners.

  • Manage the Open Position Report for Campus Corporate and send report monthly to leadership.

  • Coordinate and post on niche sites and manage Glassdoor reviews/responses.

  • Assist with all applicant inquiries in career inbox(s).

  • Attend and assist with in-person and virtual hiring events.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Collect and manage ROI data from postings, sourcing, events, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

Provides expertise and mentoring to talent acquisition partners, less-experienced recruiting staff and assistants to ensure recruiting and staffing expectations are met.

Experience and Education to be successful in this role:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, industrial relations, psychology, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated, successful experience with high-volume recruiting with 1-2 years in a senior talent acquisition role.

  • Prior talent acquisition/human resources experience in higher education is preferred.

  • Experience with successfully recruiting for a variety of job classifications and levels.

  • Willing to work outside normal business hours if necessary.

  • Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
