Position Overview:
Grand Canyon Education's Human Resources department is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Team Lead for our Campus Corporate Team. The Talent Acquisition Lead serves as a mentor, and lead for a team of recruiters, providing guidance and support in their daily activities. The purpose of a team Lead is to offer valuable leadership experience. It allows individuals to develop and hone essential leadership skills such as communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
What you will do:
Successfully completes all essential duties and responsibilities as assigned to the Talent Acquisition Partner.
Lead and mentor other Talent Acquisition Partners.
Manage the Open Position Report for Campus Corporate and send report monthly to leadership.
Coordinate and post on niche sites and manage Glassdoor reviews/responses.
Assist with all applicant inquiries in career inbox(s).
Attend and assist with in-person and virtual hiring events.
Manage relationships with internal and external partners.
Collect and manage ROI data from postings, sourcing, events, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provides expertise and mentoring to talent acquisition partners, less-experienced recruiting staff and assistants to ensure recruiting and staffing expectations are met.
Experience and Education to be successful in this role:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, industrial relations, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years demonstrated, successful experience with high-volume recruiting with 1-2 years in a senior talent acquisition role.
Prior talent acquisition/human resources experience in higher education is preferred.
Experience with successfully recruiting for a variety of job classifications and levels.
Willing to work outside normal business hours if necessary.
Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
