Summary This position is seasonal with projected start date in April 2024 located at MWR Frog Falls Water Park. AN ONSITE HIRING EVENT WILL BE HELD FOR THIS POSITION ON 2/12, 2/28, 3/20, and 4/4 FROM 3PM - 6PM AT THE CLUB AT PICATINNY ARSENAL 121 BUFFINGTON ROAD, PICATINNY ARSENAL, NJ 07801. THOSE ATTENDING MUST REGISTER HERE AND BRING THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, PHOTO ID, WORK AUTHORIZATION (AGES 14-17) AND PROOF OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS. BE PREPARED TO INTERVIEW Responsibilities Assist with the operation of the pool. Oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies. Assists with scheduling of employees. Responsible for assisting in the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to tC21-21. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications: Must posses the following certificates: 1. American Red Cross "Lifeguard" certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification). 2. American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer" (CPR-Pro) certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates (CPR) Certification). These certificates must be reflected on your resume and can be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits however, there is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligation and work scheduling requirements).
