Summary This position is in the Systems and Operations Safety Office located within the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center which serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) Experience implementing and advising on Safety and Occupational Health (S&OH) programs, policies, regulation and evaluating standing operating procedures in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements; 2) Experience performing accident investigation, accident prevention, advising and consulting on accident trends, and providing safety training; and 3) Experience performing staff assistance visits/compliance inspections, abatement plans, providing results and developing process improvement plans to improve the safety of personnel, working environments, and facilities. 4) Experience in managing requirements and implementation of Army Safety and Occupational Health Management System (ASOHMS) and utilizing ASMIS 2.0 Mishap, Investigation and Hazard Log modules.
