Job Summary
Perform repairs, preventative maintenance and major component overhaul on the facility structure.
Work under general supervision with work subject to check by the director or supervisor.
Basic knowledge of building, grounds and equipment maintenance (carpentry, electrical repair, mechanical repair, plumbing, heating, grounds keeping and air conditioning).
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and drawings.
Ability to read, write and follow written instruction.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Training in mechanical/electrical skills or Vo-Tech School preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in building, grounds and equipment maintenance.
Work Schedule
Day shift, occasional weekend, occasional holiday, occasional call time; 80 hours every 2 weeks
7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Occasional weekend (1 in 9)
Occasional holiday (1 in 9)
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$20.00 - $28.75 per hour
