Hiring Facilities Maintenance Technicians
Job Description
Perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair issues, and develop preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance tasks on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and repair issues with building systems and equipment promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
Develop and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected failures.
Essential Skills
Proficient in maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, ideally in a healthcare or nursing home setting.

Work Environment
This role will take place in the common areas of an Assisted Living facility. The work hours are 1st Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM. On-call duties are required once permanent, though they do not occur frequently.
