We are seeking a skilled and reliable Second Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality. Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, including conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and other production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend the lifespan of machinery.
Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and equipment status.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe working environment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
