Administrative Assistant
This is a pivotal administrative support position within UPMC Hillman Cancer Center's research administration team responsible for supporting the Associate Director for Research Administration with a wide variety of complex administrative and office functions. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing specialized technical support for the research administration department. This position reports to the Associate Director for Research Administration but will also work collaboratively with other senior leaders in the Cancer Center. This position will require management of many deliverables at the same time therefore the incumbent will be required to maintain a high level of organization and autonomy. Duties of this position will include managing office workflow, proposing solutions to moderately complex problems, and performing a wide variety of complex administrative and office functions independently. A strong preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree.

Essential Functions
Perform a variety of complex administrative and clerical duties with minimal accommodation.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
