Clinical Research Coordinator I Job Summary

Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments.

Essential Functions

    • Assist with recruitment, study coordination, scheduling appointments, obtaining oral or written consent, and data collection.
    • Participate in autopsy coordination for brain donations by obtaining autopsy authorization from next-of-kin, respond to family's questions/concerns, and coordinate with funeral homes and brain banking teams.
    • Organize outreach activities to promote participation in the National Sports Brain Bank registry and brain donation program. Will assist with updating social media platforms, preparation of newsletters, and outreach materials; will communicate with sports organizations, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to organize outreach events and distribution of recruitment materials.

Physical Effort

This position is primarily sedentary. However, some walking/lifting may be necessary.
