Clinical Research Nurse II-Altoona Location Job Summary
Supports clinical research projects by coordinating projects and drug trials, assessing patients' qualifications, and facilitating protocols. Collects and reviews lab results, patient data, and lab specimens; administers medications and protocol-specific treatments. Performs general laboratory duties and specialized nursing duties, trains new staff, and ensures regulatory adherence.
Essential Functions
Evaluates patients' qualifications in research projects and subject groups. Schedules and conducts study visits. Collects clinical, laboratory, and patient data, processes lab specimens. Performs general laboratory duties and phlebotomy tasks. Ensures regulatory adherence.
Physical Effort
Mostly sedentary. May require lifting up to 25 lbs. The ability to travel between multiple locations is required.
