Robert Half Data Entry Clerk in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves supporting various aspects of order management functions, providing customer service, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions. The employment type for this role is a contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support through telephone and email, ensuring a high degree of customer service and timeliness

• Process customer purchase orders with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments and internal teams to assure timely and professional resolution of customer requests

• Maintain current knowledge of all product and service offerings to answer product questions and provide information about other products and services

• Document customer information and detailed problem/issue descriptions accurately in a call tracking system

• Foster effective teamwork among team members to resolve customer issues

• Utilize Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Oracle to manage and track customer interactions and orders

• Monitor and follow up on qualitative and quantitative targets

• Display strong attention to detail, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting. Requirements • Possess a solid understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Oracle.

• Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-volume data entry environment.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make swift, sound judgments.

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

• Familiarity with the scientific instrument manufacturing industry is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of scientific terminologies and principles is advantageous.

• High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education or specialized training/certification in related fields preferred.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
