Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations across various international markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional financial acumen, and a keen eye for detail. Reporting directly to the Global Controller, the Global Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic financial initiatives to support the company's continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.

  • Global Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of financial results from 10 international subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to FP&A Team.

  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Audit Management: Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits, coordinating audit schedules, providing requested documentation, and addressing audit findings.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls to support scalable growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other departments to support strategic initiatives, mitigate financial risks, and drive operational excellence.

  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the accounting team, supervise and review the work of a team of 4 – 5 FTE’s.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of Corporate Accounting accounting experience, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role managing a team of 3 or more.

  • Strong technical accounting skills and comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.

  • Proven experience managing global financial operations, including consolidation of international subsidiaries.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with Netsuite, preferred

  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing business needs.
