Position Summary
The Therapist will provide individual, family and group therapy to individual youth in office and home/community settings. Individual will work closely with Certified Peer Specialist, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor and the Service Coordinator (Mobile Transition Age Youth (MTAY) Treatment Team). The therapist will use evidence- based practices and assessment tools designed specifically for transition age youth.
The Transition Age Therapist position is now offering a $5,000 hiring bonus.
Essential Responsibilities
Individual, family, and group therapy.
Assessment and treatment planning.
Intensive service delivery.
Crisis Intervention & safety planning.
Work collaboratively with internal programs and external stakeholders.
Participate in professional development activities including supervision, consultation, and training.
Promote wellness and recovery in all aspects of service delivery.
Documentation in electronic health record.
Qualifications
Clearances. State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
Working Conditions
Physical Demands. Requires vision, speech, and hearing. Position allows employee to move about freely or sit at will when performing job duties.
Environmental Factors. Office, home, community.
Working Hours. Non-traditional hours as determined by the program, including some evening hours and occasional weekends and on-call duties.

Education
Required
- Masters or better in Human Services
Experience
Required
- 2 years: Experience working with youth and/or adults and families within the CASSP system.
Preferred
- Expertise in developmental and emotional needs of youth and/or adults and families.
