University of Pittsburgh Part-Time Non-Tenure Stream Nursing Teaching Faculty - Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for part-time, non-tenure stream teaching faculty in the Department of Acute and Tertiary Care. Faculty promotion opportunities are available for all ranks. Qualifications for these appointment stream faculty positions include an earned doctorate PharmD, DNP, or PhD; RPh registered pharmacist licensure or prescriptive authority in Pennsylvania preferred. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant Professor -- A An earned doctorate in Pharmacy, nursing, or a field related to the area of scholarship within the School of Nursing is required. B Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring and contributing to a learning environment that values inclusivity.
Teaching Associate Professor -- A An earned doctorate in Pharmacy, nursing, or a field related to the area of scholarship within the School of Nursing is required. B Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring and contributing to a learning environment that values inclusivity. C Evidence of or potential for leadership in the field.
Teaching Professor -- A An earned doctorate in Pharmacy, nursing, or a field related to the area of scholarship within the School of Nursing is required. B Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring and contributing to a learning environment that values inclusivity. C Evidence of leadership in the field.
Desired Qualifications: Related healthcare provider experience. Possess unencumbered RPh licensure or DN prescriptive authority.
