Carnegie Mellon University Personal Care Assistant - Electrical and Computer Engineering in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

We are currently searching for a Personal Assistant to join our team. The candidate will assist a department head with physical tasks that arise during the workday. This position will also provide a wide variety of administrative support functions, as well as acting as a liaison with other university departments. Your core responsibilities will include:

Transporting different items to and from various locations on campus.

Assisting with taking materials and computing equipment to lectures and meetings.

Helping with the setup of computing equipment, disconnecting, and returning the equipment.

Maintaining calendars and scheduling in-person or virtual Zoom meetings.

Providing administrative assistance, such as coordinating meetings and setting up events.

Providing general office management by ordering supplies and supporting staff/faculty.

Compiling and submitting expense reports or processing reimbursements as needed.

Providing administrative assistance such as coordinating meeting logistics and resources, maintaining calendars, and handling other documents for supervisor's signature and/or approval.

Other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements: You should be able to travel both domestically and internationally and be willing to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
