The Supervisor, Geographic Information System (GIS)oversees the work of GIS technicians to implement workflows and standards requested by operational needs of the business unit. Multi-departmental collaboration will be a crucial part of molding efficient workflows. Reporting directly to the Manager, GIS, this position will be a key contributor to the successful execution of the strategic plan for GIS.

Location: HybridPittsburgh, PA at Woods Run Complex

Responsibilities: Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, prioritizing safe work practices, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of work across multiple locations Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned GIS inquiries, providing advice, guidance and status Lead the preparation of work execution plans to define overall GIS objectives based on approved budgets and established priorities. Schedule and balance internal resources, identifying potential shortages and request outside resources when necessary. Achieve the desired results of the organization through the strict adherence of the departments process' and procedures' Adhere to Duquesne Light Company Values and Behavioral Standards Support Asset Management & Engineering in accomplishing the desired scorecard results and identify, support, and drive data improvements. Ensure the quality and quantity of work performed in compliance with Company standards and procedures, safe work practices, and government laws and regulations. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to understand complex business systems (GIS, OMS, SCADA, Maximo etc.) General understanding of labor relations and collective bargaining Hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs. Storm roleas appropriate to therole and skillset.

Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in Geography/GIS or other relevant discipline In lieu of a degree, a commensurate combination of education and experience will be considered. Advanced degree(s) preferred Five (5+) or more years of experience is required. In-depth knowledge and relevant experience in all aspects of GIS and Utility Networks Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Esri Suite of Products Experience with Schneider Electric Products One (1+) or more years of supervisory experience preferred. Valid driver's license required.
