DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) Center of Excellence, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.

This role is a unique opportunity to expand your talent acquisition skills and experience beyond the immediate hiring needs of the organization. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will be a strategic partner focused on driving optimization of Howmet's overall talent acquisition function by increasing recruiting effectiveness and refining our hiring strategy. In this role, you will be assessing current hiring practices, implementing improvements and training, and partnering with our hiring teams and HR community on global talent acquisition projects and initiatives.

This role may sit at Howmet's Corporate Headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA or at one of Howmet's manufacturing facilities throughout the US.

Major Activities & Key Challenges:  * Provide talent acquisition guidance, consultation, and support to global recruitment efforts  * Facilitate training to our global HR partners and hiring teams on effective and best-in-class sourcing, recruiting, candidate experience, interviewing and candidate selection processes  * Utilize talent acquisition analytics, market intelligence and industry best practices to communicate and/or educate our HR community and business leaders on recruitment trends  * Partner with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to identify and champion recruiting best practices such as tools, technologies, strategic outreach, customer service, policies and procedures  * Ensure compliance in all aspects of the talent acquisition process (EEO, AAP, OFCCP); enforce and guide our HR community and hiring teams on policies, procedures, and best practices  * Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, colleges, vendors, associations and other talent acquisition partners to expand our talent pools  * Manage recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) partnership for all Corporate recruitment efforts, inclusive of leading full-life cycle recruitment for critical open positions as needed  * Develop talent sourcing strategies on various channels to identify new candidates, maintain a talented pool of candidates, and build a talent pipeline for future opportunities  * Partner closely with HR Technology to drive projects and initiatives to expand and scale our recruitment activities through data and tech solutions  * Collaborate with Communications, HR, and business leaders to establish a recruitment branding strategy with a global reach to our targeted talent pools  * Support projects and initiatives of the Centers of Excellence (Learn and Talent Management) and Corporate HR team  * Troubleshoot day-to-day recruitment challenges faced by our HR community

Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities:  * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Teams, etc)  * Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (Workday, Oracle, Taleo etc.)  * Data-minded; using data analytics to measure recruitment success and drive decision making  * Self-motivation; capable of taking initiative to proactively and creatively problem solve and identify solutions with minimal oversight  * Knowledgeable of the latest recruitment best practices and technologies; practices continuous learning to deliver on projects and business initiatives  * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information appropriately to a variety of audiences  * Well-developed interpersonal skills; capable of building trusting relationships across all levels and influencing without direct authority  * Open-mindedness and flexibility to anticipate and respond quickly to changing needs of the organization  * Highly collaborative; capable of bringing teams together and building consensus  * Highly organized; capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a decentralized recruitment environment

Basic Qualifications:  * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university  * Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources  * Willing and able to travel to company locations (domestic and international) 10%-20% of the time  * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:  * Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from an accredited university  * 2 years of experience recruiting for technical and non-technical positions, preferably in a manufacturing environment  * Experience supporting functional and technical projects within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)  * Experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources in a global company  * Experience supporting early talent recruitment initiatives  * Experience working with OFCCP hiring policies and guidelines  * Experience with talent acquisition data analytics

Salary Range: $85k - $105k/year approximation (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/org location).
