Temporary Part Time Shift Lead
Business, Hospitality, and Auxiliary Services is seeking a qualified Shift Lead for the University Stores. The primary location will be The University Store on Fifth, but the employee will be expected to rotate/support all stores.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to accuracy and details
- Basic computer data entry skills
- Product knowledge
- Process online sales
- Assisting customers with selection of merchandise
- Supervision of student workers as well as assigning tasks to student workers
- Ensure that student workers are following customer service standards
- Ability to operate standard retail equipment
- Ability to process variety of transactions such as cash, checks, bankcard, panther funds, gift certificates & cards, University requisitions, credit memos, and bookstore accounts
The incumbent will receive, stock, and merchandise products daily and be responsible for maintaining the sales floor. The ability to transport up to 50 pounds, spend many hours moving about the store. Participation in off-site events: the incumbent is required to work 22.5 hours per week up to 35 hours per week based on business needs along with Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. Overtime hours will be required as needed.
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
