System One is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for an industry-leading client in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• The day to day support of our Building, Highway and Development Divisions

• Overall safety of the shop and warehouse

• Health & safety compliance in accordance with company policy

• Overseeing and scheduling of 10-18 employees

• Provide a proactive approach to implement change as necessary

• Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior

• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards required to support field operations

• Scheduling and coordination of jobsite deliveries – tools, equipment, materials, etc. in order to meet planned field objectives

• Dispatch of equipment

• Purchasing, repairs and/or rentals of small equipment and tools

• Oversee form and tool inventory

• Costs-to-benefits analysis for repairs and/or purchases

• Train and monitor staff as required (CCO-DOT-CDL)

• Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of best management practices

• Oversee Internal Reporting Consisting Of:

• Equipment Transfers

• Material Transfers

• Tool Transfers

• Scheduling of pump truck

  Professional Experience:

• 10 or more years of field and management experience within the construction industry with a proven tract record of being able to lead by example, delegate duties, and motivate their employees. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision.

• OSHA-30 hour certification preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred

  Skills:

• Supervisory talent to support jobsites with tools, equipment, and materials

• Administrative talent to capture, record, and report the process of jobsite support

• Some computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.)

• Exceptional management skills

• Effective negotiating techniques

• Superb customer service skills

• Outstanding knowledge of the construction industry

• Keen purchasing skills

• Exceptional communication skills
