Summary:

The purpose of this position is to provide emergent care and transportation for patients in a professional and competent manner. This position requires flexibility, regular attendance, the understanding that position responsibilities may vary at times, the need to be receptive to additional responsibilities that may be reasonably assigned by the Supervisor and the knowledge that processes are subject to change per organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial assessment and ongoing evaluation

  • Records accurate and complete documentation

  • Relays proper and adequate information to Emergency Department.

  • Maintains the upkeep of the Ambulances

  • Rotating assignment of scheduling

  • May assist with providing hospital-wide security services when not performing EMS functions

Other Information:

  • Requires BLS, AHA within 30 days of hire.

  • Requires ACLS, AHA within 90 days of hire.

  • Requires PALS, AHA within 90 days of hire.

  • Must have a clean driving record.
