Hyatt Guest Services Manager in PLACENCIA, Belize

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Guest Services Manager to lead our Front Desk, Concierge, Tours, and general guest services departments at our premier resort hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences by overseeing and optimizing the operations of these key areas, fostering a welcoming and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management & Leadership:

o Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Front Desk, Concierge, and Tours departments and oversee Housekeeping operations.

  • Train, mentor, and develop guest services staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

  • Ensure staff adherenceto hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.

  • Guest Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.

  • Resolve guest issues promptly and effectively, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.

  • Anticipate guest needs and personalize services to enhance the guest experience.

  • Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and other public areas to engage with guests.

  • Operational Oversight:

  • Monitor and manage guest check-in/check-out processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

  • Oversee concierge services, including restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and activity recommendations.

  • Coordinate and manage tour operations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any service-related issues.

  • Financial Management:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of departmental budgets.

  • Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to financial goals.

  • Analyse financial reports and implement strategies to enhance revenue and reduce costs.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.

  • Conduct regular inspections of guest areas and amenities, addressing any deficiencies promptly.

  • Gather and analyse guest feedback to continuously improve service delivery.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to guest services operations.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in regular management meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
