Penn Medicine Princeton Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team within our Operating Room located on our main campus in Plainsboro, NJ. This is a full-time day shift opportunity and the ideal candidate will be available to work four ten hour days a week(7am-5:30pm). This position is eligible for a $7,500 Sign on Bonus!
Our Surgical Services department features 14 Operating Rooms with the area's most advanced surgical technology, including 3 da Vinci Robotic Systems for minimally invasive surgery. Our primary goal and objective is to ensure an outstanding surgical experience through advocating and supporting our patients and families with the highest quality of nursing care. Registered Nurses in the Operating Room have the opportunity to Circulate or Scrub in various specialties. Surgical specialties include, but are not limited to: General, Robotics, Bariatrics, Plastics, Orthopedics, Neurovascular, Spine, Thoracic, Urology, and GYN.
Credentials:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
Basic Life Support Certification (required prior to first day of hire) required.
Registered Nurse - NJ (Required)
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License (required prior to first day of hire) required. National Nursing Certification preferred.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor of Science Nursing (Required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN. Greater than 15 months professional nursing experience. A registered nurse with an Associate’s Degree with greater than 2 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered.
Related Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 months recent nursing experience - required
