CWPM, LLC Diesel Mechanic Shop Manager in Plainville, Connecticut
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Shop Manager to join our team at CWPM. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced garage whose goal is to maintain the operation of the company's fleet of vehicles in order to ensure customers' needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Operations Managers to prioritize repairs of 65 truck fleet
Manage day to day operations of shop
Set the schedules of mechanics to manage workflow
Schedule and assign repair jobs
Communicate shop goals
Establish quality and safety standards
Oversight of ordering parts and shop mechanical needs
Qualifications:
Efficient time management skills
Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
Experience of at least 5 years in heavy diesel diagnosis and repair
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and ability to manage a team.
CDL not necessary but a plus
Bilingual (Spanish) speakers a plus
