ManpowerGroup Hiring - HVAC Test Technician in Plano, Texas
Our client, a business and consumer services company, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the technical team supporting the engineering staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, an effective communicator, customer-focused, and quality-driven which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Plano, TX
Pay Range: $20 - $22/hr (entry-level HVAC techs welcome to apply)
Schedule: 2 nd /shift – 2 pm to 10 pm; 3 rd /shift – 9p to 5a (may change)
What’s the Job?
Troubleshoot HVAC equipment
Pack, unpack, and take photos of test samples, including creating electronic folders that include photos and component list.
Create component list for test samples & setup test samples in test chambers.
Clean-up, organization, and tool maintenance.
Inventory of supplies.
What’s Needed?
H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED)
HVAC experience (pay depends on experience); brazing/fabrication skillset strongly preferred
Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective manner
Ability to use basic shop equipment and various hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
