Robert Half Inside Sales Representative in Plano, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative based in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, processing orders, and monitoring customer accounts. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction and efficient order completion are of utmost importance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

• Conduct comprehensive follow-ups to verify customer satisfaction and order completion.

• Utilize CRM and Microsoft Office Suites to maintain accurate customer records.

• Process customer orders from initiation to completion with a high level of detail and accuracy.

• Actively engage in qualifying leads to generate new business.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.

• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

• Utilize inside sales strategies to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the order process promptly and professionally.

• Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and best practices to stay ahead in the competitive market. Requirements • Proven experience in an Inside Sales Representative role or similar customer service position

• Strong proficiency in CRM systems and practices, as well as the time management software "About Time"

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle inbound calls promptly and professionally

• Familiarity with billing functions and financial transactions

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to sales

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
