JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Plano, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Understand the latest cloud technology which can solve the various problem statement for design, develop and implement software solutions. Cascading the requirement to team members explaining the problem statement ensuring strict quality and timeline in mind. Understand all the complex requirements which drives the business reporting keeping in mind all the standards and security of the firm. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices keeping in line with firm wide goals. Converting the existing on prem software solution to cloud-based solution requires a lot to expertise and experience within the firm which ultimately help to deliver solution on time. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technical Lead, IT Analyst, or related occupation.

Job Location: 8181 Communication Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
