JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Plano, Texas
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Maintain, drive, monitor, and implement robust technical standards, systems, and processes. Influence technology strategies and decisions. Lead a team of staff developing products and address training needs when necessary. Coordinate the regular testing of products to address faults and provide evaluations to improve them. Act as a key contact for customers who have technical issues. Conduct interviews, hire, and train new technical support and IT staff. Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production. Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects. Deliver products consistently, on time, and within budget. Work closely with the project manager during all phases of the development lifecycle. Review all work produced by the development team. Ensure the code produced meets firm standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, I.T. Consultant, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: JAVA; C#; ASP.NET; RDBMS; Algorithms; SQL Server; JavaScript; SOAP; REST; TFS; JIRA; Azure; AWS; GIT; HTML; CSS; LINQ; XML; WEB API; MVVM; MVC; WCF; Angular8+.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 5% Domestic & International travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
