What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  • Convergint's greatest strength is our people! Every colleague is encouraged to participate in our Recruit Awesome People program, helping us grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.

  • New Project CSP Add-ons - work with AE's to know what is inflight and build CSP to add on to project proposal.

  • Existing Project Customer - identify install project customer that did not buy CSP upfront.

  • Expanded CSP Services - use existing CSP relationships to sell in other services; example, sell Fire CSP to existing Security

  • Executes high level prospecting activity with new and existing customer base.

  • Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.

  • Willingness to dig in to understand customers pain points / opportunities.

  • Articulates the value Convergint brings and of a recurring service agreement.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities

What You’ll Need

  • Solid sales skills and ability to uncover effective customer solutions

  • Solid teamwork skills

  • Shows initiative – engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities

  • Very adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principles

Requirements:

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

  • 1 year high level prospecting account development, sales or equivalent

  • 1 year engineering or field services

  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries preferred: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
