Design Engineer
With core tasks: designing advanced and/or complex building automation systems in new and existing facilities, as well as overseeing and providing technical guidance on the most cost-effective solutions to meet project specifications.
What do your responsibilities include?
Designing systems for complex or larger facilities , incl mechanical system layouts, electrical drawings, valve and damper schedules layout, various security system devices, readers, etc., and control panel layouts
Interpreting/designing sequences of operations to identify hardware and logic requirements for systems, incl. modifying systems as required
Analyzing plans, construction contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements and risks
Participating in sales-to-operations turnover meetings to evaluate accuracy of sales estimates and job layouts
Perform Quality Assurance of peer review for engineering documents
Oversee the process of material selection and products
Mentor, train and direct the design activities of Engineering Team
What should you bring with you?
University degree in Engineering – Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
Very good command of English
Experience (5-7 years) in engineering/systems
Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, incl. HVAC, control and measurement system, mechanical system, reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
Ability to interpret customer requirements , identify needs and resolve issues in a positive manner
