"Job#: 2029008 Job Description: Lab Technician IIMain Responsibilities:Prepare lab samples using CNC Mill, hand tools, Scotch Brite, sandpaper, and degreaser.Test lab samples for physical properties such as Rockwell Hardness, tensile strength, and conductivity.Pack and ship production samples within the company and to customers.Perform other duties as assigned as needed.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds rarely.Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel toe boots, metatarsal boots, hearing protection, and gloves.Competence in completing detailed part inspections regularly.Proficiency in using and reading inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins.Willingness to learn and operate a CNC Mill.Competence in safely using hand tools such as deburring tools, small hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
