Daikin Applied Construction Project Manager II in Plymouth, Minnesota

Our construction team is growing and is adding a Project Manager II! The Project Manager II will be responsible for planning, designing and leading construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget. The role will support projects across North America. In addition - he or she will be a key member of executing over 100MM worth of active construction projects. This will be a high visibility/high impact role within Daikin Applied as we continue to grow our business. Key Responsibilities Include: Plans and analyzes assigned construction projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority Coordinates project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permitting Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, Project Analysis through required project documentation such as AIA Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer Assist Coordinator in obtaining required sub-contract Agreements or project documents required for file What's In It For you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more!
