At Daikin Applied, the Engineering Technician will support HVAC development programs, technician installs, testing, calibration, conduct repairs to electromechanical and electronic measuring devices, and record and indicate instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards. A Day in the Life: Conducts testing and calibration procedures in support of HVAC development programs as directed with supervision. Set up standard and special-purpose laboratory instrumentation to test and evaluate HVAC equipment with supervision. Proactively engages in safe working habits following the applicable standards. Two-year technical degree in a related field and/or one-year related experience preferred.
