Twin City Fan Companies Ltd Facilities Supervisor in Plymouth, Minnesota

Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the facilities maintenance team. Ensure the proper functioning of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems. Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs, as well as coordinate with external contractors when necessary. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety hazards. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns. Manage inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment and oversee the ordering and stocking of necessary materials. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. Train and mentor facilities staff on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards. Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures, and implement appropriate solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in facilities management or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels. Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between different facilities as needed.
