POSITION SUMMARY: The Partner Services Accountant manages the day-to-day accounting functions for the family office while focusing on continuous improvement. This consists of preparing high level financial statements for Owners and Project Partners which includes oversight of outside resources of monthly accounting activity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage the day-to-day personal finances of Owners Create, develop and maintain professional relationships with Owners and Project Partners to provide financial planning services Maintain and update Owner's records especially within complex trust structures, including complex disbursements and cash movements Develop system tailored to each Owner to account for financial transactions Report Owner and Project Partner holdings in a balance sheet format Establish internal controls Maintain Yardi for all client entities Review and code outside statements for upload into Yardi Assist in processing accounts payable for Owner Prepare monthly financial statements Calculate and prepare trust distributions Tax basis tracking and reporting Financial Account set up and maintenance Maintain historic and forecast reporting Assist the Partner Services department in all areas to ensure the department's and organization's goals are met, not limited to typical day-to-day activities Timely and regular attendance QUALIFICATIONS: 4-year Accounting degree 2+ years equivalent work experience Strong verbal and written communication in English Ability to compile information and calculate basic mathematical results accurately such as totals, percentages, differences, etc. Proficient Microsoft Office skills Accounting software experience preferred Problem solving skills are required High Attention to Detail About Us:Dominium is one of the leading affordable housing development and property management companies nationwide.
