Responsibilities You will assume the role of Branch Head for the Business and Technical Operations Branch within the Sea Range Support Division. You will ensure that all Branch activities align with and support the strategic goals of the Sea Range Support Division and the broader mission of the Point Mugu Sea Range Department. You will lead professionals across various disciplines, including project management, office management, mission assurance, physical security, COMSEC, business software, configuration and data management, and workload metrics. You will collaborate with Department peers to assess and address staffing and operational needs. You will oversee all supervisory responsibilities, including performance management (DPMAP/STRL), recruitment, hiring, training and development, space planning, and financial planning and execution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 Supervising or leading diverse teams, while managing workload metrics and personnel in technical and business operations; 2) In-depth knowledge of office management, mission assurance, physical & communications security, configuration and data management, and business software systems; 3) Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and execution for a branch or department, including the management of resources to meet operational goals; 4) Managing both technical and administrative tasks within a large-scale organization, ensuring adherence to policies, compliance requirements, and operational priorities; and 5) Advocating for process improvements, working closely with leadership to identify requirements and implement standardized, effective, and efficient processes.
