Eaton Corporation Asst. Manager - Data Management in Pondicherry, India
What you’ll do:
This new role is required to support all the product categories for the plant.
ECN Management, BOM creation, SAP Knowledge are the technical skills required to perform this job responsibilities in a effective manner.
Maintaining the ECN conformance, Bill of Material, process (routings) and operation times / costs encompassing the execution and continual updating and monitoring of the Master data’s, to ensure complete accuracy in Material Master
a. Plan and organizes the integration of information to the company ERP system, with particular emphasis to part information, Bill of Materials, Routings and Label data to ensure 100% data accuracy
b. Manages the Engineering Change Note system which is practiced in the plant
c. Complete all the continuous improvement projects for the palnt activities and production assembly lines.
d. Liaises with NPD, Process Improvement, Manufacturing Engineers and Business Units to ensure that appropriate levels of information are referenced through the routings including standard shop practices, work instructions and tooling reference
e. Maintains routes and standard times on the ERP system, to reflect current manufacturing processes
f. Support Global supply chain teams by providing various master data validation and checks to ensure global compliance across all locations
g. Supporting the product transfers from one location to another location by setting up Part, BOM & Routings on ERP system.
h. Plant ERP Audits and Supplier Bom Audits to be completed for ensuring smooth business process
i. Assists in the distribution of controlled copies of information controlled by the Data Management team. Ensure that controlled copies of said data are maintained by their owners to reflect current status of documents
j. Assists in the Helpdesk and service material creation and extension.
k. Strong working experience on SAP transactions with UPS and RMU product knowledge.
Qualifications:
BE/B.Tech Electrical /Mechanical or Engineering Degree
5 - 10 years - Proven and solid experience working in the following ERP system : both SAP and Oracle
