Honor Community Health is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Health Center co-located within 20 locations. Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care. We serve all populations regardless of their ability to pay. Our team is passionate about serving the people of Oakland County.

Position Description

The Projects and Facilities Manager is an integral part of our management team, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. The Projects and Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing facility administration and operations, maintenance, space planning, utilization, as well as project management support as needed. This position will work with external contractors to ensure work is completed with fidelity and excellence for patient care, track and complete all necessary governmental paperwork, and serve as lead with all building projects, particularly those that are owned by the organization. This position will focus on developing processes and operational protocols to ensure work is prioritized, tracked, and finalized.

 

What are we looking for?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least 5+ years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair work, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system, including operating and maintaining common hand and power tools required. Intermediate knowledge preferred.

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service.
