Job Description:
Open Container Bar is seeking energetic and hardworking Barbacks to join our team. Located right next to the Jet Express, we are a bustling outdoor bar with a lively atmosphere. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working evenings and weekends, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders by stocking and replenishing bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes
- Ensure the bar area is clean and organized, including washing and sanitizing glassware, utensils, and equipment
- Support bartenders in preparing drinks during peak hours to ensure efficient service
- Keep the bar area tidy by collecting and disposing of empty bottles, cans, and trash
- Restock ice, napkins, straws, and other bar supplies as needed
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with any guest inquiries or needs
- Help with additional tasks as directed by bartenders and management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barback or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in an outdoor environment
