Akima Database Administrator in Port Hueneme, California
This position will perform Database Administration duties on the Navy’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to, the management, maintenance, sustainment and upgrade of the Customer's SPS (CACI) product and associated subcomponents.
Qualifications
General Experience: Preference for experience in the management, maintenance, sustainment and upgrade of the SPS (CACI) product and associated subcomponents.
Preference for experience administering the Navy’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Strong UNIX/Citrix experience. Scripting experience.
Preference for SPS Sybase database experience and general knowledge of enterprise shared storage devices.
Attention to detail and strong deductive reasoning skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and tracking resolution of root cause to closure
Adaptable and flexible response to shifting customer priorities, frequent and open communication with all stakeholders
Ability to flex schedule to support occasional surge operations
Certification Requirement: CompTIA Security + Certification (or government approved IT Security Certification)
Certification Preference: SPS (CACI) Certification (System/Adapter) or Windows OS Certification preferred
BS degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution required
Secret Clearance Required
Pay Range
$105,000-$113,250
