Quality Control Expert

Wentworth GA

­6+ months contract with high possibility of extension

Pay rate: $23.00/hr- $24.00/hr.

Hours: 40 hours a week start time 7am

Experis is seeking Quality Control Expert to join one of our Fortune 500 Life Science Client in Wentworth GA.

Responsibilities:

This position will utilize a variety of test equipment to perform incoming, intermediate, and final inspections on materials. Typical analysis includes, but are not limited to pH, conductivity, particle size analysis, heavy metal analysis, color measurements, chemical titrations, and sieving tests.

• Provide timely, accurate results to ensure plant process efficiency.

• Calibrate and perform minor repairs on instruments.

• Follow written and verbal instructions.

• Work safely and cooperatively in a group setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, or other science discipline.

• 1+ years or work quality experience in Laboratory setting.

• 1+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in quality processes and statistical basics.

• Experience with using SAP.

• Knowledge of color determination; visual evaluation (L, a, b values)

• Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team environment.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and GMP manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrate understanding of advanced chemistry and laboratory procedures.
