The Quality Engineer II will support Saint-Gobain Life Sciences\' manufacturing location in Portage, WI by utilizing their advanced technical knowledge to help meet prescribed quality standards and meet company financial, delivery, and quality objectives. Will provide technical and statistical knowledge to lead in a variety of quality areas. Key Accountabilities Lead quality& production departments in the evaluation of quality issues (including customer & supplier issues) using statistical & problem solving techniques to determine root cause, implement corrective & preventative actions and improve processes. Investigate customer quality related complaints/returns and provide feedback to customers; meet with customers and participate in customer audits. Lead studies to identify process capabilities, developing product inspections and test procedures and report quality requirements. Member of the internal auditing team, conduct internal audits Work with suppliers to solve quality issues Exhibit safety awareness and model safe work practices in all aspects of the job Is this job for you ? Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering; required Manufacturing experience with Statistical methods & Continuous Improvement; Required. Experience in GMP or Other ISO-Regulated Environment; Required Hands-on experience working as an engineer in a Quality Role; Required.
